PHOTOS: Karuna Arts Yoga/The Tag Zone Celebrate Grand Opening In Des Moines

Karuna Arts Yoga and The Tag Zone celebrated their grand-opening at their new Des Moines location with a ribbon-cutting this past weekend.

Formerly located in Olde Burien, these side-by-side businesses run by Anne and Johnny Basco are now settled into a freshly remodeled building at 605 South 223rd Street in Des Moines.

The new location provides a major increase in available space, with dedicated facilities for the yoga studio and Nerf arena that shared space at the old location.

A good crowd of adults and kids showed up on Saturday to participate as Mayor Dave Kaplan welcomed Anne and Johnny to Des Moines at the official ribbon-cutting.

After that no time was wasted as yoga classes got underway and the kids (and a few adults) retreated to the Nerf arena for a workout of their own.

Photog Michael Brunk was on hand for the grand opening, and shot the following photos. You can click the images above and below to view larger photos.
