B-TOWN BLOG: Amber Alert turns Burien Into Major Police Zone Tuesday

Our sister site The B-Town Blog is reporting about an Amber Alert that turned Burien into a major police (and media) zone Tuesday afternoon.

Michael Riley, the suspect, was taken into custody, and the two children he abducted from the Burien Library were found safe.

Police say that Riley, 23, had a loaded gun in the car, along with drug paraphernalia.

Sgt. Cindi West of the King County Sheriff’s Office says that the stolen vehicle, a 1994 Lexus, was located using LoJack technology as well as via KCSO’s Guardian One chopper. Reports say that the car was tracked in Burien’s Three Tree Point neighborhood before being found near SW 160th and 20th Ave SW.
