PHOTOS: Des Moines Celebrates Summer With The 2012 Waterland Parade

This past Saturday (Jul. 21) was the big day for the annual Waterland Parade, a Seafair sanctioned community event produced by Destination Des Moines.

Under beautiful blue skies, all of our favorite units marcheds down Marine View Drive.

Lots of crowd favorites were back, including the Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team, the Seafair Pirates and Seafair Clowns, and of course the massive line-up of tow trucks from Pete’s Towing. In between were many local groups representing our wonderful community.
