I think our luck finally ran out last Saturday. It was the first time in our 8 years that the market had to be canceled because of severe weather. Vendors don’t mind the rain but, with strong winds and lightning, things can become dangerous in a hurry. A few hearty souls stuck it out for a couple of hours until it got to be too much.
Hopefully, this Saturday will be a little better and allow us to have our first wine tastings. Look for our special location next to the market information booth. Remember, all proceeds from the sale of wine goes to help run the market. And you can write off portions of your purchase on your income tax. Don’t forget to join Wanolitto’s Wine Club while you are purchasing the market’s wine.
Just in time for the holiday shopping season, I have combined all my cooking with wine recipes in one neat little booklet that will make a great gift for $5.00. All proceeds go towards the market Endowment Fund.
