Wanolitto’s Musings for this Saturday’s Des Moines Farmers Market

The Sun God blessed us once again last week – the first wine tasting was a huge success, thanks to all those who participated. All proceeds go towards running the market. The tasting will continue every week thru the rest of the season.

Also continuing thru the end will be our wine sale: buy two or more and receive 20% off, 6 or more bottles and receive 25% off.  Don’t forget to join Wanolitto’s Wine Club while you are purchasing the market’s wine.

Why are these people smiling?

Don’t forget to pick up my cookbook. I have combined all my cooking with wine recipes in one neat little booklet that will make a great Christmas gift for $5.00.  All proceeds go towards the market Endowment Fund.

DMFMLogoWearAs we have seen recently, the weather it is changing and winter is not far behind. Now would be good time to pick up your “Hoody” for the cold days to come. The market logo wear is at the information booth and can be ordered and delivered to you in one week.

They call it The Holiday Touch, and it’s what makes senior living at Holiday Retirement so special. And, don’t forget to thank them for their sponsorship. They, like other sponsors are what help to make the market what it is today.
