The Des Moines Legacy Foundation announced that it raised over $28,000 at its recent Bayside Brunch fundraiser. “Yes, YOU did!!!!!!” reads an announcement. “The expenses are still trickling in, but it is clear that Grand Ole’ Opry 2013 has made over $19,000 for Des Moines senior programs and services and $9,060 for Des Moines low income youth to participate in recreation programs!!” Here’s more from a release:
