Pacific Middle School ‘Future City’ team off to DC for national competition

Last Saturday (Jan. 25), six Pacific Middle School “Future City” teams participated in the Future City Regional Competition (an engineering competition) for the day at the Museum of Flight, and one of the teams will be heading to Washington, D.C.!

The “Rapture City” team won 1st place out of the 26 competing teams that came from as far as Pasco, WA and Fairbanks, AK.

Pacific Middle School is the first Washington State public school to ever win this prestigious award.

The winning team will be in Washington, D.C. from Feb. 14-19, to compete in the Future City National Competition.
