Advertiser Wesley Homes hosting Dr. George Scranton’s ‘The Walk’ April 28


Advertiser Wesley Homes will be hosting Dr. George Scranton’s adaptation of “The Walk” at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 28, and all are invited.

“Dr. Scranton’s creative adaptation transports us into the viewing gallery of the House of Lords, where the forces of change are afoot,” reads an announcement.

This free program is presented by SouthWest King School Retirees Association.

Dr. George Scranton is a Professor of Speech at Seattle Pacific University. He holds degrees in speech and religion, biblical literature, theatre history and criticism & theology and theatre. Of the dozen plays Dr. Scranton has written and/or adapted, three received national awards by the Christians in Theatre Arts Guild (CITA).

Wesley Homes, a not-for-profit organization, is affiliated with the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
