Historic MV Lotus yacht will be docked at Marina for Waterland Festival July 17-20

In celebration of the upcoming Waterland Festival, the historic MV Lotus yacht will be docked at the Des Moines Marina  July 17-20, offering Dockside Tours from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
According to the MV Lotus website :
Lotus has been a familiar sight in Puget Sound and North to Glacier Bay in Southeast Alaska for nearly 100 years. She was the largest power yacht on the West Coast when she was launched in 1909.
Today, she retains the charm and original furnishings of that lovely, adventurous era. Step aboard and Step back in Time.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places
Built to cruise the Inside Passage of the Pacific Northwest
Built for Maurice McMicken, attorney, legal counsel to the legislature of the State of Washington, co-owner of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer Newspaper, developer of the Seattle Street Car Company, sportsman and civic leader.
Designed by Naval Architects Lee and Brinton, and built in the Sloan Yard in Seattle.
Sunday, July 20, also includes the Classic Car & Wooden Boat Show along with the Taste of Des Moines, all on the marine floor.
