New Des Moines restaurant Blue Whale Bistro will be holding a Grand Opening this Friday and Saturday, Aug. 8 and 9, at their location at 22341 Marine View Dr South, Unit D, in Des Moines.
“For the nights of our Grand Opening, instead of our usual menu, we will be preparing a variety of small (one and two bite) treats, both savory and sweet,” said Owner Margie Nelson. “Our servers will be moving through the restaurant with trays of these goodies and guests can pick and choose which ones they want to try. They will cost $2-3 each. It will be a little like a dim sum restaurant!”
They will also be offering a couple of their beers and wines at special prices.
Hours for both Friday and Saturday will from 5 – 10 p.m.
Blue Whale Bistro – formerly Blue Vanilla Bakery – is located on the West side of the building at 22341 Marine View Dr South, Unit D, in the lower level.
