Help fight sex trafficking by watching ‘Rape For Profit’ film on Oct. 16

“Rape For Profit” is a critically-acclaimed documentary that exposes the reality of sex trafficking in the Seattle area, will be shown on Thursday, Oct. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at Wesley Terrace.

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery. It is thriving in our nation and in our own communities. This film addresses the issues in a straightforward and sometimes heartbreaking way.

Special guests will include Deputy Andy Conner, founder of Genesis Project, and Chief George Delgado of the Des Moines Police Department.

The screening a free event sponsored by SWKCAT, Southwest King Coalition Against Trafficking. Founded in 2013 as an initiative of Washington Engage, the primary focus of the SWKCAT is the elimination of human trafficking in our communities through awareness events and education.
