Saturday, June 6 was a bright, sunny and picture-perfect setting for the 2015 Opening Day of the Des Moines Farmers Market at the north end of the marina. This is the 10th year for the market, which runs every Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. through Oct. 31. WLB Founder/Publisher Scott Schaefer was there, and he took these pics (click images to see larger versions/slideshow): P1080757 P1080696 P1080654 P1080745 P1080736 P1080729 P1080668 P1080684 P1080619 P1080699 P1080693 P1080628 P1080605 P1080660]]>

  1. Amazing photos! Thank you for sharing, I love this blog you do a great job, I love the market too, I particularly enjoy the music and I love that SKFD and Des Moines Animal Control Officer participate, It’s part of what makes Des Moines a great community. I would like to see the market open earlier in the season, and stay open a bit later in the day, although I am thrilled that they’ve added Wednesday evening!!!!
