REMINDER: Pip Pip, Cheerio! Saturday will be a sunny day for the English Fete!

REMINDER: Enjoy all things British this Saturday, Sept. 12, at the 2nd annual ‘English Fete’ at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Renton, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Drawing on their Anglican roots, St. Luke’s English Fete will offer sales of traditional English foods such as Bangers & Mash, Shepherds Pie, Sausage rolls, Scotch eggs  and Ploughman’s Lunch, along with English beers and sweets, classic English carnival games,  raffles, live music by Celtic Check! and fun for all ages.

A bouncy castle and face painting round out the many family-friendly activities which kids will enjoy…while adults might like to quaff a beer or cider in the pub.

All proceeds benefit the operation of St. Luke’s and their many community ministries including, ARISE, an interfaith traveling homeless shelter for men, St. Luke’s Community Garden whose bounty is shared with Renton’s needy, and warm-up breakfasts on various weekday mornings.

Admission is free and open to all (Please contact [email protected] for special accommodations or information).

Oh, and did you see what the Weather Gods are forecasting for Saturday? 82 degrees and sunny, with 0% chance of rain!
