UPDATE: 11-year old missing boy Christian Torres has been FOUND safe!

UPDATE FRIDAY, OCT. 9, 2015 12:30 p.m.:

Christian Torres, the 11-year old boy who went missing after school on Wednesday (Oct. 7), has been found SAFE!

Des Moines Police confirmed the good news via Twitter Friday Oct. 9 at 12:30 p.m.:




The Des Moines Police Department is reporting that 11-year old Christian Torres is missing.

Christian has been missing since Wednesday, Oct. 7, since school ended. He attends Parkside Elementary School, located at 2104 S 247th Street.

“Apparently he had some issues at school yesterday and chose not to go home,” Sgt. Doug Jenkins told The Waterland Blog. “He has been entered into both a state-wide and nation-wide database as a missing juvenile.”

Police are working with the family to determine the whereabouts of this young man.

If you know where Christian is, please call 911 immediately.
