Families and community members are invited to join members of the Highline School Board for a series of conversations at locations across the district, with the next meeting set for this Saturday, Jan. 9 at the White Center Public Library from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come meet and speak with Director Tyrone Curry Sr. “Our families and community members are critically important in the education of our students and in the success of our whole school system,” said Superintendent Susan Enfield. “One of the four pillars at the foundation of all we do in Highline is strong partnerships with families and community. We are committed to ensuring that we are true partners with you in all we do.” The School Board conversations are just an example of the many opportunities for families and community members to be involved in the challenges that lie ahead for the school district. The sessions are intended to be open conversations. Participants can bring up issues of concern and ask questions. Please come with questions and ideas so School Board Members can learn about the issues that are important to you. The White Center Public Library is located at 11220 16th Ave SW; 98146. For more information, visit http://highlineschools.org/Page/6965]]>
