Update on the Redondo Boardwalk will be at MaST Center this Friday, Jan. 8
All are welcome to a free update event on the Redondo Boardwalk at the MaST Center this Friday, Jan. 8 from 4 – 6 p.m., featuring Andrew Merges, engineer from the City of Des Moines.
As many will recall, the boardwalk was severely damaged during a storm in Nov. 2014:

While you’re at the MaST Center, you can also check out the 3,000 gallon open-flow aquarium filled with over 250 species of native Puget Sound marine animals!
Admission to the MaST Center is always free.
The Marine Science and Technology (MaST) Center is the marine classroom and laboratory of Highline College. Located
next to Salty’s on Redondo Beach in Des Moines, Washington, the Center also functions as a public aquarium. The MaST
Center is open to the public on Saturdays from 10am-2pm, as well as during monthly Community Coffee events.
