‘The Cabiri’ will celebrate anniversary at Des Moines Beach Park on Sunday, May 1

Sunday May 1, 2016 is acrobatic group The Cabiri’s 17-year anniversary, and they’ll be celebrating with a FREE performance at 2 p.m. at Des Moines Beach Park.

Here’s a taste of what this amazing group does:

The Cabiri is a Seattle-based nonprofit that preserves the mythologies of extinct and endangered cultures through theatrical performance, lectures, and publications. Their acrobats, dancers, stilt walkers, aerialists, and puppets have been seen worldwide.

Come celebrate at Des Moines Beach Park on Sunday, May 1 at 2 p.m. for a free performance on the group’s stunning outdoor aerial dance stage Daedalus.

Des Moines Beach Park is located at 22030 Cliff Ave South.
