Police seeking witnesses in $400,000 diamond robbery in SeaTac Tuesday

King County Sheriff’s detectives are trying to locate anyone who witnessed a robbery in SeaTac on Tuesday (Oct. 25) around noon.

Police say that the victims are employed as diamond couriers, and were in town from Hong Kong selling diamonds.

On Tuesday just before noon the victims were driving in a black Nissan 4-door on the northbound on-ramp to I-5 from S. 188th Street.

One of the suspects reached into a broken window and grabbed a backpack containing the diamonds, the value of which is estimated at over $400,000. The suspects then fled in the black car.
