The Rams finished the season with a 7-3 record, after winning a combined total of 4 games in 6 years between 2010 and 2015, then moving up to 4A Football, Assistant Coach Joey Martinez told The Waterland Blog.

“This was the Rams first trip to the post-season under 5th year Head Coach Tremain Mack,” Martinez said. “Mack is a former NFL pro bowler for the Cincinnati Bengals and still holds the return record.”

The Rams play in the Cascade Divsion of the NPSL along with KentWood, Kentlake, Kentridge, Tahoma, Kent-Meridian, Hazen and Kennedy.

The Rams league loses came to Kentwoood and Kent lake.

The Mount Rainer football team also consists of players from Tyee High School, as they do not have a football program. The WIAA allows this in certain circumstances. There were 66 players on the team with about 15 players sourced from Tyee.
