Des Moines Police seeking public’s help finding drive-by shooting suspect


The Des Moines Police Department is seeking the public’s help finding a suspect wanted in connection with the drive-by shooting of a 13-year old boy on Nov. 26 on Pacific Highway South.

The teen suffered a non-life threatening injury from the shooting in the 23000 block of Pacific Highway South.

Police have since received information that the suspect vehicle is this blue 1999 Honda Civic with Washington License AKU8731:

On Nov. 7, 2018, this vehicle was reported stolen to the Bellevue Police Department.

“Our agency is aware this vehicle has been observed within the South King County area since the date of the theft,” Sgt. David Mohr said.

The suspect Honda has damage to the driver’s side front quarter panel.

The Des Moines Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating this vehicle. The occupants are considered armed and dangerous.
