Destination Des Moines‘ FREE 4th of July Fireworks Over Des Moines will be this Thursday at the Des Moines Marina and Beach Park.
This Independence Day Celebration has been a tradition within the Des Moines community for many years.
Paid parking is limited at the marina, but you can take the 121, 122, 131 and 132 bus routes along Marine View Drive and walk down to the show.
Bring your family, picnic dinner, lawn chairs or blankets and sit back and watch the fireworks show! Please note that there will be security checkpoints at all of the entries.
The event is FREE, but donations towards next year’s event are always welcome.
The Quarterdeck in the Marina will have live music starting at 1 p.m., with a beer & wine garden.
There will be three food trucks:

- The Fish Basket NW
- Corn Shack
