A concerned citizen called Des Moines Police on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, to report that 12 ducklings dropped into a storm drain…and off to the rescue DMPD Officers went.
Mama waited patiently for all her babies to be rescued:
“Thanks again Officer Ochart and Officer Hake for coming to the rescue. We appreciate all of your hard work and getting every last duckling out of the drain. You guys are the BEST!”
