Whew! To make getting down to the Marina a little easier, organizers have arranged for the Des Moines Senior Center shuttle bus to provide FREE transportation. This means you can park once and attend the Marina events without the hassle. The hours for both events are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Parade starts at 5:45 p.m. with the children’s parade. The route is between 227th (Barnacles) and 219th (QFC). To catch a ride to the events, just “wave down” the driver for a ride to your next stop. The shuttle bus is scheduled to run from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. To download a map of the Shuttle Routes, click here (PDF file).]]>
