DESCRIPTION:7 Stories is returning on Friday\, Jan. 26\, 2024 at the Highline Heritage Museum on the theme “Brush With Greatness” or “You Only Live Once (Y.O.L.O.).” \nThis will be the first session of 2024\, and will start at 7 p.m. at the museum (map below). \nNOTE: If you can’t make it to this event in person\, be sure to “Like” us on Facebook here to get a notification\, as we’ll be streaming it live on that page starting at 7 p.m. \nWho hasn’t been held captive by a powerful\, funny\, or frightening story?  ‘7 Stories’ is a night of such storytelling – to build community\, empathy\, and celebrate our diversity. \n\nEach 7 Stories night has a theme and storytellers sign up and are selected in advance. Real stories are spellbinding and raw.\nThey are not a theatrical performance\, but true life stories from your friends\, acquaintances\, or someone you have never met.\nThese stories are told from the heart.\nEach program is introduced by our host for the evening\, with a short bio of each storyteller.\n\n2024 Season & Themes\n\nJan. 26\, 2024: “Brush With Greatness” or “You Only Live Once (Y.O.L.O.)”\nFeb. 23\, 2024: “The Perfect Storm/Aligned & Positive!” or “Hot Mess”\nMarch 22\, 2024: “Paths Not Taken” or “Diary Entries”\nApril 26\, 2024: “Duped” or “Aha!”\nMay 24\, 2024: “Chance Encounters” or “Tiny Acts”\n\nStorytellers Needed\nPlease consider sharing your true story…in the spirit of community and friendship. We will coach/help you as much as you would like. Not all stories will be appropriate for young listeners. \nOrganizers can help coordinate the logistics of a 2-person bilingual story.
