DESCRIPTION:All are invited to join Highline College\, the City of Des Moines and Sound Transit on Wednesday\, Sept. 18\, 2024 as they officially open College Way and the new main entrance to Highline College. \nThis free event will be held off Pacific Highway and directly across from the Kent-Des Moines Light Rail Station\, which will open in 2026. \nThis celebration will start at 2:30 p.m. \nHere’s what to expect: \n\nRibbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday\, Sept. 18 at 2:30 p.m.\nWe will gather around the roundabout (traffic circle with Highline College sign) on College Way and Highline College East Lot.\nBrief presentations by City of Des Moines\, Highline College and Sound Transit.\nRefreshments and information provided by City of Des Moines\, Highline College Foundation and Sound Transit.\n\nQuestions?\nPlease contact Josh Gerstman\, Vice President\, Institutional Advancement\, Highline College at Jgerstman@highline.edu. \nClick Here to RSVP
