DESCRIPTION:The City of Des Moines is inviting residents to connect with city staff during a series of informal summer “Neighborhood Pop-Up” events\, beginning Tuesday\, June 24\, 2025 at Wooton Park in Redondo. \nThe event will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and offers residents a chance to meet staff members\, ask questions\, share concerns\, and enjoy a free Otter Pop in a relaxed outdoor setting. \n“This is your chance to chat with City staff about what’s on your mind — big or small — and enjoy a refreshing Otter Pop while you’re at it\,” organizers said in the announcement. \nThe pop-up series is designed to bring local government directly into neighborhoods for casual\, accessible community engagement. \nFuture pop-ups are scheduled for: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJuly 7 at Cecil Powell Park\nAugust 18 at Midway ParkAll events run from 5 to 6:30 p.m.\n\n\n\n\nResidents are encouraged to drop by\, say hello\, and take advantage of the opportunity to ask questions or raise issues in an informal setting. \n\n\n\n\n\nWooton Park is located at 28202 9th Ave S\, Des Moines\, WA 98198:
