DESCRIPTION:The City of Des Moines is inviting the community to a festive Fourth of July celebration at the Des Moines Marina on Friday\, July 4\, 2025\, featuring food trucks\, live music and a nighttime drone show in place of fireworks. \n\n\n\nThe event is free to attend and begins at 5 p.m. with food trucks offering BBQ and beverages from local vendors including Moe Vegan\, WestCoast Seattle Boy\, Yummy Box and So Chilly Ice Cream.  \n\n\n\nLive music kicks off at 6 p.m.\, followed by a drone light show over the water at 10:20 p.m. \n\n\n\nNOTE: For safety\, the beach and beach park will be closed to the public. \n\n\n\n“Come early\, grab a bite\, enjoy the music\, and watch the sky light up!” \n\n\n\nThe event is hosted by Destination Des Moines.
