DESCRIPTION:From 4:30 – 7 p.m. on Friday\, Sept. 5\, 2025\, Inkfish Gallery in Des Moines will open an exhibition dedicated to the Art of the 1960s. \nThe sixties have been called the Swingin’ Sixties\, the Cultural Decade\, and the Counterculture Era. The art of the sixties included Pop Art\, Op Art\, Minimalism\, Conceptual Art\, Hot Rod Art\, Psychedelic Art\, and more. \nGeorge C. Scott of Inkfish Foundation and Fred Andrews of Des Moines Legacy Foundation\, with funding from 4Culture of King County\, have curated a show that will take you back in time.
