DESCRIPTION:Families are invited to celebrate Halloween magic throughout downtown Des Moines on Friday\, Oct. 31\, 2025\, at the annual Trick-or-Treat Path along Marine View Drive South. \nDestination Des Moines’ free community event runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. between South 216th Street and South 227th Street.  \nLocal businesses\, organizations and volunteers will line the street to hand out candy and treats to costumed children and families. \nOrganizers said the Trick-or-Treat Path is designed to provide a safe\, festive environment with decorated storefronts\, photo opportunities and plenty of Halloween cheer. \nCrossing guards and volunteers will be on hand to help families navigate the route safely. \nOrganizers expect 1\,000 to 2\,000 trick-or-treaters and encourage businesses and community groups to participate by hosting treat stations. \nParticipants are asked to bring candy\, decorate their booths\, and dress in costume to help make the event a memorable experience. \nFor more information or to get involved\, contact Destination Des Moines at info@destinationdesmoines.org\, or click here.
