DESCRIPTION:The MaST Center will host its annual Squid-A-Rama on Saturday\, Nov. 29\, 2025\, offering a free\, family-friendly look at marine life in Puget Sound\, according to event organizers. \nThe event will feature ocean-themed story times with the King County Library System at 11 a.m.\, Noon and 1 p.m. \nSquid dissections are scheduled for 2 p.m.\, 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.\, and a program titled Memoir of Mollusks presented by Tagal Oceanic will begin at 5 p.m. \nLive squid can be viewed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. \nOrganizers said space is limited and registration is required for squid dissections and the Memoir of Mollusks program. \nEntry to the event is free. \nSquid-A-Rama will take place at the MaST Center Aquarium on the Des Moines waterfront in Redondo (map below) and is open to all ages. \nMore information and registration details are available through the MaST Center website.
