DESCRIPTION:Participants can make herbal salves\, tinctures and infused oils while supporting ocean wildlife at “Potions for the Ocean\,” a fundraiser for SeaLife Response\, Rehab and Research (SR3) set for Sunday\, Oct. 18\, at the Des Moines Theater. \nThe workshop runs from 2 to 4 p.m. at the theater (map below). \nAdmission is $100\, with all proceeds benefiting SR3. \nKristyn Cook\, founder of Sacred Oak Apothecary\, will lead the session\, introducing participants to herbs and discussing when and how to use herbal remedies. \nSupplies are included. Participants will take home a salve\, a tincture\, an infused oil of their choice\, and extra ingredients and instructions. \nRegistration is available online here or through the QR code on the event flyer below. \nQuestions can be directed to info@SR3.org. \n\n\n\nThe Des Moines Theater is located at 22325 Marine View Drive South.
