DESCRIPTION:Local Artist Maureen Hoffmann and her exhibit ‘Italian Stone: Artist’s Muse’ will be celebrated with an Opening Reception at the Highline Heritage Museum on Friday\, May 5\, 2023. \nHosted by Burien Arts\, Hoffmann’s reception will run from 6 – 7 p.m.\, and her art will be on exhibit at the museum from May – June\, 2023. \nA second reception for Artists United will run from 7 – 8 p.m. \nAdmission to both receptions is free. \nHere’s more info on Hoffmann\, courtesy Burien Arts: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPulling from her 60\,000 photos taken in Italy over 15 years\, Maureen has combined photos with graphic overlays for one-of-a-kind monoprints. Her works include images of Milan\, Florence\, Venice\, monuments\, cobblestones\, manuscripts\, and textiles. \nA graphic designer for forty-five years (forty of them with her own business)\, Maureen works both independently and collaboratively.
