DESCRIPTION:The ‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bash’ Festival will return to Burien on Saturday\, April 15\, 2023 after a two-year hiatus. \n\n‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bash’ is an intergenerational community-building festival celebrating one of our most beloved icons right here in the great Pacific Northwest.\n\nThe one-day festival on April 15 will host a family friendly Mercado at Lake Burien Presbyterian Church featuring more than 40 vendors and an evening karaoke event for those 21+.\n\n‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bash’ is a celebration of Alimentando al Pueblo (AAP)\, a Burien based nonprofit that houses the countries only Latinx food bank system.\nAlimentando al Pueblo is a project rooted in facilitating healing for Community that has been disproportionately impacted by the COVID -19 pandemic – impacts that have only been amplified by systemic and historical racism and economic disenfranchisement. DESCRIPTION:The ‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bash’ Festival will return to Burien on Saturday\, April 15\, 2023 after a two-year hiatus. \n\n‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bash’ is an intergenerational community-building festival celebrating one of our most beloved icons right here in the great Pacific Northwest.\n\nThe one-day festival on April 15 will host a family friendly Mercado at Lake Burien Presbyterian Church featuring more than 40 vendors and an evening karaoke event for those 21+.\n\n‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bash’ is a celebration of Alimentando al Pueblo (AAP)\, a Burien based nonprofit that houses the countries only Latinx food bank system.\nAlimentando al Pueblo is a project rooted in facilitating healing for Community that has been disproportionately impacted by the COVID -19 pandemic – impacts that have only been amplified by systemic and historical racism and economic disenfranchisement.
