DESCRIPTION:The City of Tukwila\, in partnership with GreenSheen Paint\, will host a free Paint Recycling Event on Saturday\, September 21\, 2024\, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tukwila Community Center (map below). \n\n\n\nThe event will offer residents an opportunity to safely dispose of various types of paint and paint-related products.  \n\n\n\nAccepted items include latex and oil-based paint\, stains\, shellacs\, lacquers\, sealers\, varnishes\, urethanes\, textured coatings\, and containers that are five gallons or smaller. \n\n\n\nItems that will not be accepted at the event include aerosol (spray) paint\, paint thinner\, solvents\, cleaning agents\, drywall mud\, roof patch\, adhesives\, and other hazardous waste materials. \n\n\n\nCommunity members are encouraged to register for the event online here.
