A semi-truck rollover crash closed all lanes to the northbound lanes of SR 509 in SeaTac Wednesday morning, Sept. 10, 2025, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

The crash – on the right shoulder of the recently re-done entry lanes to northbound SR 509 – prompted a hazardous materials response, and drivers were advised to avoid the area until further notice.

The 911 dispatch call came in at 9:00 a.m.

Crews were on scene to contain the spill and clear the wreckage.

Officials did not immediately release details about injuries or what the hazardous cargo was.

The collision was cleared in the late afternoon, and all lanes were re-opened.
