Des Moines City Councilmember Harry Steinmetz, who is running for re-election, will host a campaign fundraising event this coming Monday night, Sept. 22, 2025, featuring live music and a community gathering at the Quarterdeck.
The event, titled “Chill Night Out with Harry Steinmetz,” will take place at the Quarterdeck beginning at 6 p.m., according to Steinmetz’s campaign.
Seattle guitarist Michael Powers will perform, and attendees can enjoy music, light bites, and drinks available for purchase.
The campaign said the evening is designed as an opportunity for residents to meet Steinmetz, connect with neighbors, and support his run for Des Moines City Council.
