Friends of Saltwater State Park Naturalists will host a series of free low tide beach exploration events Aug. 10-Aug. 13 at Saltwater State Park.
The family friendly programs will give visitors a chance to explore the beach during low tide and learn about Puget Sound marine life, including sea stars, crabs, anemones and other shoreline species, with help from local naturalists.
The events are open to all ages.
Organizers recommend that participants bring curiosity and shoes that can get wet.
A Discover Pass is required for parking at the park, and can be purchase on site – more info here.

- Monday, Aug. 10, 9 to 11 a.m.
- Tuesday, Aug. 11, 9:30 a.m. to Noon
- Wednesday, Aug. 12, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
