Here’s a down home, oven baked, scratch-made reminder to our readers that Advertiser Dana K’s Kafe is a great place to meet friends and family darn near any old time: Dana K’s is open seven days a week! Dana K’s is tucked away just behind and down the sidewalk from the Scotch & Vine on Marine View Drive in downtown Des Moines. It’s in the same cozy spot that Blue Vanilla and Blue Whale Bistro used to occupy. Dana K’s has a wondrous, can’t-go-wrong menu of sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries and more.
