The new Des Moines Chamber will be holding a Women’s History Month luncheon on Wednesday, Mar. 18, at Anthony’s HomePort in Des Moines.

According to the chamber, the gathering will run from Noon to 2 p.m. and will be held at Anthony’s HomePort in Des Moines (map below).

The event is billed as a celebration of Women’s History Month and will feature special guest Sen. Tina Orwall, who the chamber calls:

“A relentless advocate for justice, mental health, and community well-being, Senator Orwall exemplifies the profound impact of dedicated leadership. Drawing upon her extensive legislative experience and commitment to the vulnerable, she will share invaluable insights on navigating challenges, breaking glass ceilings, and leading with strength and empathy.”

Beyond Orwall’s keynote, the luncheon offers a prime opportunity to forge new relationships, expand your professional network, and celebrate the collective power of women who are shaping our local economy.

“Whether you are an established executive, a rising entrepreneur, or a trailblazer, this gathering is a space to recharge your vision,” organizers said.
