Des Moines Police officers uncovered a significant quantity of narcotics while investigating a suspicious circumstance in a wooded area on Tuesday, July 23, 2024.
Police said the discovery was made thanks to the thorough efforts of responding officers, who meticulously searched the area.
During the investigation, officers located:
- 472 grams of blue M-30 fentanyl pills located
- 63 grams of methamphetamine located
The seizure of these dangerous drugs prevents their distribution within the community.
The Des Moines Police Department commended the officers for their diligent work in ensuring these substances are taken off the streets.
No word on the origin of the narcotics, but we can guess some dealer may be upset that their secret stash is gone.
