The first round of results for the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election were released, and initial returns indicate that Proposition No. 1 – the Public Safety Levy Lid Lift – is losing for the second election in a row.

Proposition No. 1

  • Approved 3,888 • 41.10%
  • Rejected: 5,573 • 58.90%

Other returns so far favor Ferguson for Governor, Cantwell for Senator, Smith for District 9, Jayapal for District 7, Upthegrove for Commissioner of Public Lands, Orwall and Gregorson for Legislative District 33, Alvarado and Fitzgibbon for Legislative District 34; with three of the four statewide initiatives losing.
