Celebrate ‘Look, Listen + Learn’ TV at Renton Community Center Saturday, May 20
May 20, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Look, Listen + Learn TV will be hosting its first-ever P.A.L. Anniversary, an interactive version of their Telly Award-winning & Emmy-nominated early learning television show at the Renton Community Center on Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Look, Listen + Learn TV (LL+L TV) invites all to celebrate the friendship of its two beloved co-hosts, Possum and Auntie Lena, collectively known as P.A.L.
Inspired by the early learning segments from their television series, the First Annual P.A.L. Anniversary is a fun-filled day for children, friends, and families to participate in the same activities seen on the show.
The event theme for 2023 is Gather, Garden + Grow, commemorating P.A.L.’s first meeting—in Auntie Lena’s backyard garden!
On Saturday, May 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., attendees will gather at the Renton Community Center for garden-themed activities led by local partners Double Dutch Divas, Family First, Greentrike (Children’s Museum of Tacoma), King County Library System, Tilth Alliance, the Tooth Fairy (Delta Dental of Washington) and the Woodland Park Zoo. Each art, cooking, planting, and reading activity is for all ages but best suited for 3-8-year-olds.
Help grow the LL+L TV community by attending this free public event. Advance online registration is recommended. Register before April 14th, and your little one(s) will receive a tote bag filled with games and coloring pages for use at the event and at home.
