Classic Rock, Blues & more from Blue Lizard Band

The Des Moines Summer Concert Series continues Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2023 with free classic rock, blues & more by the Blue Lizard Band at Des Moines Beach Park.

The free concert will start at 7 p.m.

The concerts, which continue Wednesday nights until Aug. 21, are free to the public and promise an exciting mix of music genres.

The series kicked off on July 17 with a performance by General Mojos, followed by Wasted on the Way on July 24.

• • Wednesday, Aug. 14: Erina Mclaren & Back Sass

• • Wednesday, Aug. 21: Uncle Ernie

The event is supported by the Des Moines Art Commission, the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce, and other community partners.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnic baskets to enjoy the performances in the scenic outdoor setting of the Beach Park Event Center.
