POSTPONED: Public invited to tour new Des Moines Elementary on Wednesday, Mar. 18

Highline Public Schools is hosting its first-ever tour of the new Des Moines Elementary School for community members on Wednesday, March 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“I see inspiring things happening every day in our schools, and I want community members to see them, too,” said Superintendent Susan Enfield.

The tour will showcase Des Moines Elementary School, one of two new schools opened this year thanks to a bond passed by voters in 2016.

The tour will be followed by lunch prepared by the culinary arts students from Puget Sound Skills Center (PSSC).

Tour Schedule:

• • 11:00 a.m. Meet at PSSC – 18010 8th Ave S, SeaTac 98148 (map below)
  • 11:25 a.m. Take a bus to Des Moines Elementary
  • 11:40 a.m. Tour Des Moines Elementary
  • 12:15 p.m. Return by bus to PSSC
  • 12:30 p.m. Lunch at PSSC

Tour guests will first meet at Puget Sound Skills Center at 11 a.m.:
