REMINDER: Mother’s Day Plant Sale is this weekend

REMINDER: A Mother’s Day Plant Sale fundraiser for Weed Warriors will be held this weekend in Burien. This event will be held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. this Friday through Sunday (May 12-14) at a home located at 13257 5th Ave SW in Burien (map below). This Weed Warriors, Nature Stewards fundraiser program supports scholarships for Highline Public Schools seniors pursuing environmental education at a college or university of their choice. “Create a Wildlife Habitat for Birds, Butterflies, and Bees with Native Plants!” Plants include Red Flowering Currant, Twinberry, Low and Tall Oregon Grapes, Irises, Ferns, Coastal Strawberries, Nodding Onion, Western Bleeding Heart, Native Trees, Evergreen Huckleberry, Lilies, Wild Ginger, Mints, Oregano, Honeysuckle, Fireweed, Cascara, Ocean Spray, Blue Elderberry, Douglas Spirea, Fringe Cup, Hardy Geranium, Oregon Stonecrop, Pacific Ninebark, Pacific Rhododendron, Orange Honeysuckle, Roses, Red Huckleberry, Saxifrage, Salmonberry, Sedums, Snowberry, Thimbleberry, Vine Maple, Native Willow, Shore Pine, Red Osier Dogwood, White Pine, Mock Orange, Serviceberry, and MORE…
