SeaTac Farmers Market will wrap up first year with free food and cultural goods on Wednesday, Nov. 6

If this is your first time hearing about us, our markets are a bit different than the usual. We prioritize BIPOC vendors offering culturally relevant food and goods, with a focus on food justice and health equity. We believe in making local, nutritious food accessible to everyone, regardless of income. From farmers offering unique produce items to cuisine, baked goods and artisan products from West African, Salvadorean, Caribbean, Syrian, Filipino, Indian and so many more cultures, our markets have something for everyone.

Here’s what you can expect at our last market:

• 125 FREE whole Zabiha halal, pasture raised chickens ready to cook from Black Seed Farms
• 75+ FREE local, organic food bags filled with seasonal produce—no questions asked
• $5 youth bucks for all kids to encourage healthy shopping habits
• SNAP-EBT matching up to $25 with our Market Match program
• Free books, rock painting and STEM education activities for all ages
• Free healthcare & insurance navigation, and Apple Health registration services
• Unique food, fall fresh produce, and artisan goods from diverse cultures!

Plus, we support our vendors by taking no fees and ensuring they keep 100% of their sales and buy back leftover produce from our farmers to distribute freely.
