Soccer fans invited to free World Cup viewing party at Des Moines Theater on Friday, June 19

World Cup excitement is coming to Downtown Des Moines, and all are invited to gather at the Des Moines Theater for a FREE World Cup Watch Party on Friday, June 19.

Join friends, neighbors, and fellow soccer fans as Des Moines cheers on Team USA as they take on Australia on the big screen.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m., and the match begins at Noon.

Whether you’re a devoted fan of the game or simply looking for a fun way to connect with the community, all are welcome.

Admission is FREE. If possible, it’s encouraged to pre-register (link below) so organizers can plan accordingly.

“Need help getting tickets? Stop by City Hall and we’ll be happy to assist you,” organizers said. “And if you decide to join the fun at the last minute, feel free to stop by the theater doors.”

There will be USA and Australia-themed food and drinks for purchase at the event.
