‘Spring Into Summer’ Bazaar benefiting Seattle Children’s will be Saturday, June 6

The Des Moines Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital will host its Spring Into Summer Bazaar and Flea Market on Saturday, June 6, at Grace Lutheran Church in Des Moines.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, located at 22975 24th Ave. S. (map below).

Proceeds from vendor table fees and guild sales will benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cancer Research programs.

The family-oriented event will include a plant sale, handmade vendors, flea market items, baked goods, local food trucks and children’s activities.

Activities planned for kids include face painting, bubbles, a plant your own plant activity area and opportunities to see local fire trucks and police vehicles.

Organizers said the event is designed to help families kick off the summer season while supporting a charitable cause.

“It is the perfect way to kick off summer,” organizers said in event materials. “Shop local, grab great food, let the kids have fun, and support an incredible cause.”

The Des Moines Guild also encouraged residents to attend and support pediatric cancer research efforts benefiting children and families.
