The Poverty Bay Virtual Wine Festival is this Saturday, July 25
July 25, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
REMINDER: The Poverty Bay Virtual Wine Festival will be this Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 4 – 8 p.m. on Facebook live.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the event – usually held in person with lots of social mingling and sipping – had to be revamped, so organizers are going virtual.
During the event, there will be up to 12 wineries showing off their wines. Then you can reserve/purchase those wines on a website so you can then pick them up from the winery.
30% of the sales will be split between beneficiaries of Destination Des Moines and the Rotary Club of Des Moines/Normandy Park.
Keep an eye out for the Facebook live post on July 25 at 4 p.m. and a link to the website to reserve/purchase your wine.
Some of the wineries are:
-
- Love That Red Winery
- Moose Canyon Winery
- Long Cellars
- Nota Bene Cellars
- Patterson Cellars
- Cedar River Cellars
- Elsom Cellars
- Palouse Winery
Thank you to all the wineries, sponsors, volunteers and community members that made this event possible.
