Waterland Parade will be Saturday, July 20

The Destination Des Moines Waterland Parade is a beloved community event proudly sanctioned by Seafair.

Each year, hundreds of spectators are thrilled by vibrant floats, lively bands, Seafair Pirates, clowns, boats, and an array of exciting entries.

The festivities begin with the Children’s Parade at 5:45 p.m., followed by the enchanting Grande Parade at 6 p.m.-ish.

Winding through the heart of Des Moines along Marine View Drive South, from 240th to 216th, the parade creates the perfect setting for a festive and unforgettable day.
